I love big dogs - Rotties, Dobermans, Alsatians. My mama was a Doberman. But could you explain something to me? I've heard people use the phrase "downward dog" and I got no idea what they are talking about. Do you know?

I started the thread so people could share their pix and stories about their animal companions. But everyone wanted to talk about eating them or having sex with them and I got dazed and confused.

This was supposed to be a thread where moms and dads could bring their kids and say "Oh, look at the little kitten/puppy/snake/duckling".

But it got ugly and I got ugly and I really needed that smack upside the head.
