quick: Is spearmint the same as mint at the grocery store?

the bf is stuck staring at the produce and needs an answer. We're serving Mojitos tonight, and they have "spearmint" which he says looks and smells like what's normally just labeled "mint leaves".

Peppermint are kind of round, spearmint are kind of long and narrow, I think.

I just looked it up. It seems spearmint leaves are what's needed.

Usually at the store, it just says "Mint". It never occurred to me to wonder if it was spearmint or peppermint. but I guess it tastes spearminty.
