Seattle DUers - last chance!
This is your last chance to suggest some fun things to do while I'm in Seattle. I leave for the rainy city tomorrow and will be there until wednesday. I'm planning to hit the Central tomorrow night for some music, and biscuits and gravy at Fado is a tradition for me, so that will be sunday morning. Other than that (and the conference I get to attend during the day) I have no plans. Thoughts, anyone???

Thanks,
KJ

1. The "rainy" city
Has had less rain than LA this year... in fact, their driest winter since 1977, and flowers are already blooming...

It's definitely not so rainy...

(Lived there for 15 years, and I can tell you, more cities on the east coast get more rain, Seattle just has more cloudy days - look it up, I kid you not)

Ok, enough lecturing... just have fun. :-)

2. well, you could stop by the new Tom Binh store downtown ...
... and pick up one of these bags with the notorious "apology for Bush" label that the right-wingers threatened them about, as a treat for yourself! They're at 609 2nd Avenue.

4. while you're downtown
live jazz, off Pioneer Square. You'll hear it. Place kicks ass. On 1st I think. There's another jazz Club, New Orleans Restaurant, also on 1st.

If you're into rock try the Ballard Firehouse.
And check out the art galleries, especially the glass guys off Pioneer Square as well.

And be careful around Pioneer Square.

That music experience thing is pretty trippy I hear also
