There's something WRONG with my friend

We at the pub after work with the usual crew and I said "Hey let's go on a bender."
He says, "No, last month was too much."
I said, "oh come on man, who cares it's not like you're married."

So he says no, and my roomies and him are gonna watch a movie... they were talking about watching Grease. I was like, "DUDE, you're gonna watch fucking grease...GREASE for christsakes...come on the bender."

I could not budge him, so I found some other worthy souls who I will meet with shortly.

but sounds like your friend is maturing. That, or the last time out left a really bad taste in his mouth.

for many. Havocpup is about that age and she does not do the party hearty thing anymore. She will still go out and dance herself into an ecstatic state, but she handles the liquor more sparingly. What she did in her 20s sorta bores her now. It happens.

2. OMG! It's time for an intervention!

I can't imagine giving up a bender - or, in fact, I can't imagine giving up a root canal, to be truthful about it - but I can't imagine giving up a bender NOT ONLY to watch that POS Grease, but to watch that POS Grease with A BUNCH OF GUYS.

That is SOOOOOOOOOO fucking lame! That's lamer than the DUer's spouse who fell asleep watching the movie tonight.

That's lamer than, say, Bill O'Reilly.

ANd NO he is not "Trying to get some" he's good friends with them

and what could say to a girl "I am perfectly safe!" any more than saying "Let's watch Grease together!"

Yeah, he might not be trying to get some tonight...but he's laying a foundation...
