One of my end users asked me to set up some spam filters for him. Basically, I have one rule that sends all external mail to a SPAM folder that I have created. The second rule sorts all exceptable mail to an EXTERNAL folder. The third rule then sorts out all exceptable brokers from the EXTERNAL folder, and kicks them back to the INBOX.

The other day, I tried to set up a second end user with the same filters by copying and pasting them to his rules. Not only did that not work, but now the rules are not working for the original user (they had functioned perfectly up until the copy/paste incident). Also, I am unable to delete the rules for the original user in order to recreate them. UGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!! I am using Notes R5.

Dump Notus Bloats.

It is a huge piece of shit. It was originally designed to be a flexable distributed database. Then someone got the bright idea of using it to develop an office package (mail, calendar, etc.).

For that, it absolutely SUCKS. I currently work for a company that uses it exclusively. It is terrible. I get a number of calendar appointments each week, and they randomly "delete" themselves. It is very frustrating, because I am missing meetings.
