I love so much there. Bath Bombs are a fave. I love all the girly things. I dragged a visitor from one yummy, smelly store to the next.

The chocolate massage bars are also good...I just need a willing partner.

with a big tub and my favorite whiskey. it was a great day. they let me check in six hours early- they gave me a key to an occcupied room- this strange beared guy who luckily was wearing this silky royal blue robe........
theen when i got to the next room and flipped on the TV, it was faux news and their heads were exploding because they knew barbara boxer was supporting coyners!
it was a great beginning to a damned nice day. and my last bath. wish i had a do over, i might have slept up a little. i didn' t pack so well, LOL, but i brought me a lot of lush!

the big dilemma is it's probable i would have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom or kitchen. so your ability to curl up might really come in handy. maybe a pullout loveseat...hmmmm. i gotta take some measurements!

55. Let brooding superheros lie
I'm sure some woman broke his heart - kicked it with her spikey heels until he couldn't take the bleeding anymore. He wanted to save the dying relationship - that's what superheros do - but eventually he had to walk away.

One stormy night...it was over...and he went to the pub to fill up the emptiness with beer. The next day he put his cape back on - 'cause that's what superheros do.

It should be a movie - a dark cautionary tale.

I'm bitter. There are not enough women superheros. I'm not tall enough to be an Amazon....I think I'll be a goddess instead - Diana, the huntress.

56. they lie in the otherworld, waiting until we really need them...
the fianna in old irish myths there were troops of wandering poet warriors, famed not only for their courage, strength and their prowess in hunting and war, but also for their moral code and polite nature. i remember they could never be violent to a woman, and never run away unless they were outnumbered by ten. they could not refuse you anything they could give you. they were known to tranverse the country and sleep in fields at night after long days of righting all the wrongs around them. the greatest ones always have two end stories, and in one they go to tir na nog for a while where they stay young until it's time to come out and save their land. they disappeared and the church emerged.
yes, they live in hidden underground lairs, too. funny how that works.

57. They have prose warrior brethren
Not nearly as romantic a creature...but fierce. You don't want to cross them. They'll slay you with both pen and sword. They travel the land - warning the people of all things dire. The truth is their mightiest weapon.

...oddly enough though - they're afraid of spiders.

i love a good story myself. it's the irish in me. my brother is a policemean, but a fianna at heart- that's his code, too. so, he's covering the sword angle. he's the one who paid me to write for him. but otherwise he's as honest as they come.
i have a friend who had a flesh eating thing just this summer because of a spider bite. he swears it happened the last time i had seen him, and it kept him bedridden for 3 weeks. i think he was trying to make me feel guilty. i felt too guilty to ask for a good look at the wound. if i knew i'm sure i would have brought him soup or porn or something, jeeze three weeks from a spider? you know how these spiders get to you? they hitch a ride on the grapes, and he loves grapes.

Truth is often realized in fiction. I forgot about your entrepreneurial youth...anything for a future man in blue.

...I don't know where you find these men of yours - flawed creatures all. I'm not so sure about the spider bite - was it laden with poison? Now grapes they can be dangerous. Many things can be blamed on too many grapes.

i think you have to find the flaws and face them to make double dog sure you really love someone. some demons you can live with, and some you have to cast out onto the street at some point. but flaws are endearing a lot of the time.

Although, Clark might be too much of a goodie-goodie. A guy has gotta have a bit of edge. Helping old ladies is nice...but you want to know he can deal with the bozzo who hassles you at the bar.

...lilacs and freesias are two of my absolute favourite flowers...does that mean I'm a little old lady or just drawn to the scent of a superhero?

In his more recent incarnation, he was a little more hip. You're right though, Lois was blind - glasses are no disguise. I think she was just so distracted by Superman's...erm...package - that she never looked at his face. Those tights can be distracting.

...Kryptonite - we all have our weaknesses and our crosses to bare. Why should superheros be any different. I expect too much.

20. Ye Olde Yankee psychic detox cure for all ailments. . .
This is from Edgar Cayce. . .2 parts Epsom Salts & 1 part Baking Soda in bathtub (1&1/2 cups to 3/4 cup works well for my tub). I also add Avalon's Lavender Bath gel. . .just 'cause I like it.

Full immersion=total restoration of one's well being. Repeat weekly. Find happiness.

Congrats on your new tub. This combo of substances is fantastic, totally satisfying, and far cheaper than trendier salts, gels, and elixers.

Hope you have many happy and relaxing baths in your future.

31. I'm thrilled for you!
I went without a bathtub for years and still remember how wonderful it was to sink into it for the first time. :)

Suggestion: Buy bubble bath!

Congratulations! Enjoy and take advantage of your new place and the opportunities it offers. A warm (or cold) relaxing bath sounds absolutely wonderful. So glad this worked out for you
