I think people saying the trial is all about the who gets the White Album ignores the weight of the crime he's been charged with. It's like saying OJ was charged with murder because Ricky V's Sports Memorabilia wanted to auction off his Heisman. (Granted the Beatles catalog is worth much more)

Further I argue that Sony has no gain in getting the catalog. They already own half, and Jackson used his part as collateral on a loan from Sony. So they were being paid with interest on Jackson's portion and making their money and then some off the catalog anyway.)

it is his classic pedophile behavior. Having a house rigges up with all kinds of kids toys, an amusment park---pedophiles like to create situations that will put them in contact with children.

They also claim they do it for the child's own good, to help them, protect them etc.
