That is one of my cowboy hats I have 5 hats. But usually I wear a just a cap. I have not really worn my hats in a long time. I miss riding and roping. I wish I could do that for a living.

I was wild then, in a way I think it was "God's way of saying slow down there son."

Broke my heart when my uncle sold Sam, and I went and saw him for the last time. He shied from my chair at first but he recognized my voice, and he came up and put his head in my chest. Then started looking for the wheat bread and apple I always had for him. He was the best cutting horse I have ever had.

Best cow horse I ever rode was a Paint Stallion. That horse could cut on a dime and give you change. And he was fast. But he was ornery, we spent most mornings bouncing around the pasture, while he worked out some of his ornerieness. and if he did not throw me then he tried to bite me through out the day. He was a fun horse. I loved it cause he had spirit, and he let it show.
