A Tip For Married Men:
Edited on Sat Feb-26-05 08:17 PM by Allenberg
If your wife is a frugal shopper, do your own shopping for cuts of beef. I like to have a large steak for breakfast on Sundays. So, my wife heads over to the commisary, and buys me my steak. Well, instead of buying the tenderloin that I prefer, or even maybe a top loin, I get brought chuck under...because it was large, and three bucks. Total. Crap.

1. Mmm mmm. Nothing like a big chuck steak for breakfast.
What a bummer.

I'd be so sorely disappointed...

4. If it's any consolation,
um, well, it could be worse. It could be tripe.

Sorry, there just isn't much that's worse than a chuck steak as a breakfast steak. I like to grill them on occasion, as an evening meal, but steak for breakfast means "steak, a couple eggs, maybe hasbrowns", and in that case, the chuck steak is crap.

I actually like the sirloin for breakfast. Though I have done a Ribeye. But if doing a ribeye for breakfast, then I figure screw the eggs, and serve twice as much meat.

:-)
