It's actually not bad--I got it for free with a coupon. It tastes like Big K Diet Cherry Cola, which goes on sale for about 50 cents a two-liter every once and a while, so there's gonna have to be a good sale of this Dr. Pepper stuff for me to pay cash money for it!

see "polyethylene glycol", I'm not sure what the "poly" does exactly to the "ethylene glycol" but ethylene glycol is radiator fluid.

In New Orleans, some people drink Dr Pepper with crushed maraschino cherries mixed in. They say it makes it taste like a defunct N'Awlins soft drink called Doctor Nutt, which Dr Pepper may (or may not) have been patterned on.

I was there back in the 1970s...you could ask for it that way back then. But then again, that was before Mardi Gras became primarily a slutfest for college girls, so this may have changed as well.

Though I sure could use a Central grocery muffaletta right about now.
