Tell me, is this the most boring morning ever?
I made coffee and toast. Sat down to breakfast. Dog at my feet. I noticed the dog cocked her head, brought up her ears and was staring at the cat, who was sidling across the room.

I look over at cat, who looks at me. We stare for a bit. Dog looks at me, then back at cat.

I'm wondering if the cat is going to jump up on the couch or go behind it to come out on the other side.

I guess the dog is, too, because she looks at one end of the couch, then the other, one end, then the other.

We are waiting. Waiting for The Cat. What will she do?

Finally, she comes out from behind the couch. Looks at us like "That is the way you should be acting all the time--as adoring fans."

She turns so that her ass is facing us and slowly prisses away. Goes to a corner of the room, looks at us with disgust, then proceeds to lick her butt, leg straight up in the air.

I look down at the dog, who was still very interested in this tableau. I shrug at her. I have the feeling if she could shrug, she would, too.

I drink my coffee. Boring, huh?

1. LOL :)
Get another dog. My two crazies have been at it all morning. They make me laugh almost every day as I'm working (and DU'ing).

2. We tried that.
Ours is a very jealous dog. She and the cat coexist, not always peacefully, but mostly.

We are all allergic to cats, so after this cat passes on, no more for us.

And husband is not too into dogs, even though we aren't allergic to them.
