Me: Trainspotting. Yes, because of the baby. I was glad to hear about it before someone could coax me into watching it.

75. I made a vow to never see Titanic
but my senior-year US History teacher in High School was so excited to have acquired a copy of it and showed it on the first day of class as a "treat". Well, I only saw about the first 10-15 minutes of it. (As I recall, they made a pretty big deal about the release of Titanic on video. I think there were lines outside the local Blockbuster a little before midnight when it went on sale in September 1998, in which I started senior year.)

But you are making a mistake about Trainspotting. It's actually a pretty good movie.

One of my favourite films is The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. Everybody hates that and I agree, it is pretty ugly. I was living with my sister in college and she moved out because I merely had it on video.

70. "Pearl Harbor" and "White Chicks" top my list.
Infinitely more so than "The Passion of the Christ" or "Titanic."

Someone mentioned "From Justin to Kelly." I have a perverse appreciation for cinematic car wrecks -- I actually enjoyed Vanilla Ice's "Cool as Ice." So, I would be totally open to watching "From Justin to Kelly," especially if I had a nice big fat joint to smoke while watching it.

78. The upcoming Kingdom of Heaven
Like Orlando Bloom, like any period piece, anything medieval, but am not so keen on watching something glorifying the crusades. especially in these times. Unless I was misled by the trailer...

92. It doesn't glorify the crusades.
From early script reviews it sounds like a pretty accurate portrayal.
Very intense battle scenes.
I think it sounds promising.

And a little Orlando never hurt anyone.

93. Anything that gives me the following impression from the trailiers:
1) The movie consists mostly of explosions, fights, and car chases.

2) The movie is full of gross-out jokes that aren't particularly funny

3) The movie glorifies war

4) The movie has high Roman numerals after it

5) The movie is a pretentious indie feature by a director who thinks he's being innovative because his characters are chain-smoking, foul-mouthed lowlifes.

103. Count another one.
I even hate the musical numbers in the Disney films. I always want to say "Get on with the story already!" Play the songs in the background and release them as a soundtrack, if you must - some of the all-time greatest music comes from movie soundtracks - but don't bring the action to a dead stop so everyone can sing and dance around like idiots!

112. but "Star Wars" is just a Western in different outfits
really.

You should give it a try, because it is really entertaining. Not the same kind of scifi as say "Dune", or Ray Bradbury, or some of the other stuff..

It's not really scifi, it is a space horse opera

113. "Space Opera" is a real genre....
And the original Star Wars movies definitely fit. As a science fiction fan since the 2nd grade, the TV's Twilight Zone was the most accurate presentation of what I'd been reading.

But Star Wars was really excellent fun. Too bad about what's happened to the series..
