5. I would say the odds are that there is.

Billions of galaxies with hundreds of millions of stars in each. But unless they are real close,or there is a ftl travel we will never know.

There's probably a ton of bacterial or prokaryotic life out there...but intelligent? On our level? Very rare indeed, probably.
