as the last of six kids, i was tied up quite a few times, too. my sisters were just as bad.
poor mom, we were 8 people in a two bedroom house, and we were quite high spirited.

I was the only one left at home when I was about 8. My brothers say I was spoiled. I say I had better timing.

22. damned right i win, i slept in a crib until i was 4 or 5, and then on top

of my sister for another couple of years on and off. if my brother was in the hospital, i had my own bed, when he came home, bam, back with my sister in a single bed. we worked that out because she used to roll over and squish me.
what kind of parents have more kids than room for beds? the kind that grew up three or four to a bed, i guess.
the crib used to be my jail, my sibs had a big board and would weigh it down on top so i couldn't get out.

25. I was in a crib till I was 4 or 5 too.

My dad went back to school to get his degree when they had five kids. He had left school in grade seven. Times were tight when I was really young. I'm just so much younger than my siblings that I don't remember much about that time. As I grew up, my parents had more money and fewer mouths to feed. I lucked out.
