Let's play Stump the Stadium Nut...
Edited on Fri Feb-18-05 08:45 PM by SmileyBoy
I'm currently studying architecture, and I hope to design sports facilities once I get my degree. As a result, I have a HUGE, nerdy knowledge of stadiums in the US and Canada. The Ultimate Sports Road Trip website is like my personal bible.

Go ahead and ask me the name of the stadium that any NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, or college football, basketball or hockey team plays in. Just say the team mane, and I'll give you the stadium and capacity.

Seriously, I'm really good at this...

2. Reed Arena, that seats about 12,500, if I'm not mistaken.
Edited on Fri Feb-18-05 08:48 PM by SmileyBoy
You may have had more in attendance, though. Sounds like a real round number.

9. Excellent.
They've been playing at Burke-Tarr for at least 30 years, but they recently decided to raze the stands and rebuild them, rather than just renovate.

We won big time, 49-19. I'm on the team staff (student manager).

36. CN has been good in football for the past twenty years or so,
and consistantly in the top ten or twenty in their division. Had a couple of National Championships back in the 80's, but they've lost a step or two in recent years. Still quite a good program, but not quite where they used to be.

Sullivan Arena is used for the Great Alaska Shootout.

Why can't UAA just move to DI and play basketball at Sullivan all the time??
