Poll question: Is California the new Florida?

I mean in terms of...weirdness. IMHO this catastrophe transcends weirdness and moves into absolute absurdity. I'm not sure whether the right-wing pundits will all move to California and take up residence like they did in California, but it seems like the mentality of the masses is political ignorance and affection for charismatic, albeit horrible, personalities. Sort of like North Korea without the starvation.

I loved the two years I lived in California. But I'm in a way glad I left when I did. First the blackout. Now this.

But then again, I did move to Texas, so pick your evil. Personally, I'd rather be there than this Bible-belt superconservative hell-hole.

Florida was never as far down on the credability list as California is now.

Davis could not defend his record and had an angry electorate on his tail.

There was no credible democratic candidate.

Arnolds message (Fiscal conservative/Social moderate), whether accurate or not, appealed to many more Californian voters.

There is nothing notably strange about this dynamic.
