Swanky Petrossian restaurant hides Hemp cookbook
I took a friend out for a birthday meal and we went to Petrossian. Just to get psyched up I checked their website and spotted this in the bio of one of the chefs:

Michael is also a co-author of The Galaxy Cookbook (North Atlantic Books, 2002) which promotes healthy and ecologically conscious cuisine.

Okay, this is a restaurant that specializes in caviar, salmon and champagne (it's franco-russian). I was paying so fortunately my friend doesn't like caviar or champagne.

But I start wondering what is "ecologically conscious" about their menu. I go to Amazon and here is the REAL full title of the cookbook:

The Galaxy Global Eatery Hemp Cookbook !

So it is apparent that Petrossian didn't want to list hemp in the guy's bio. But I couldn't help teasing my friend, saying I intended to ask for some "killer brownies" after the meal. Or perhaps we could ask if they have any specials related to "Bob Marley's birthday." Or I could change the reservation to 4:20.

I had the Horseradish Crusted Atlantic Salmon with Potato Puree, Roasted Fennel, Borscht Sauce . It was great.
