2. I took the guy I'm allegedly divorcing out to lunch.
In this dress...

I figured I can sit around and sulk today or do something nice and share some good memories and Indian food. Since I had no other date or plans today, I chose the latter. We had a nice time.

Plus, I hear my boys are buying me chocolates. :P

Keeping it simple this year ...
I got him some candy - a bag of green M&Ms :bounce: and some Sugar Daddies. He sent me flowers at my office - daisies with one red rose in the middle. And tonight, we're treating each other to a very nice dinner.

How's the Cocoa stuff? Sounds yummy - I recently got some of their "Tutti Dolci" products in Cinnamon Frosting & Angel Food Cake. It's good stuff. :D

8. I bought candy for the kids' classmates
solid heart chocolates for the teachers, and am taking my kids out for dinner. (actually, they are taking me out...I give them money to pay the bill). Though this is going to break me...I have been unemployed since October, and get very little on unemployment.

I look forward to getting a job so I can donate to DU and get my star! How much do you need to donate in order to earn a star anyway?

14. Combination anniverary/valentines
Marshmallow got an antique cameo pin, and a braclet of her choice, I can't tell you much about it, I just opened my wallet, but, it was something she wanted.
She gave me a couple of dvds, Logans Run and The three Stooges, and is taking us out to dinner tonight.
Oh and I bought her a rose, I used to get her a red rose for every year we'de been together, plus a white one in the center for the one coming, but, that just got too damn expensive so we mutually called that off.

31. I didn't buy anything
Instead, I made her a chocolate souffle with hot fudge an d homemade vanilla nutmeg cream. We had this on our honeymoon, and, surprisingly enough,it came out fantastic. I set up our living room like a picnic, a blanket on the floor, pillows, the fireplace going. I had it timed so that the souffle would come out of the oven right when she got home from work. In case you were wondering, I did this on Friday night because she closes tonight.

32. Gave: yellow roses & card
Got: Valentine chocolates and card she made on the computer.
Miz t. is not a computer whiz, so this was a real labor of love for her and I am duly impressed.
The yellow rose thing is because she's from Texas.
Years after I'd started the tradition, we learned that in the language of flowers, yellow roses mean infidelity.
Oh well.
