Why didn't Paul McCartney sing that "Freedom" song at the Superbowl?
Just wondering. Seems to be an important word these days.

This is my right
A right given by God
To live a free life
To live in freedom

Talkin' about freedom
I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
I will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

Anyone tries to take it away
They'll have to answer
'Cause this is my right

I'm talkin' about freedom
Talkin' 'bout freedom
I will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
I will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

Everybody talkin' 'bout freedom
We're talkin' 'bout freedom
We will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
Talkin' 'bout freedom
I will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
I'm talkin' 'bout freedom
We will fight
For the right
To live in freedom

5. It was fine
nothing great, but if you like Paul (and I do) it was good.

He did Drive my Car, Get Back, Live and Let Die, and Hey Jude.

9. I think those two were John's songs
singing-wise, that is. Would have been amusing, though :)

10. yeah, they were
but they always had co-credits. I've never seen him in concert - does he only sing Beatles songs he did the vocals on originally?

3. Because it sucks?
I didn't watch it, but from what I heard about the songs he did do, I don't think he wanted to do anything that could be interpreted as supporting Bush in anyway, which that song probably would 'cause the chimp repeats it like he has a string in his back...

4. "Freedom" is a revolutionary workers' song
as evidenced by the lyrics. Not for the Bowl crowd...
