Its a rhetorical question, you don't have to answer.

1. The power of monopoly
When you are a monopoly, you don't have to do shit and you can still be very, very rich.

2. I just built and setup...
3 Shuttle computers(The little ones, look like a toaster). Two with AthlonXP 2500s and one with a 3.0 Ghz Pentium. All three are dual-boot with Mandrakelinux 10.1 Official.

There is no comparison.

To put the functionality that is on the Linux side on the Windows side would cost a fortune. You couldn't put the security on the Windows side. It's just impossible, unless you took it off the internet. I put a Hoontech digital sound card in one of them. On the Windows side, with finding and installing the drivers, it was a pain in the ass. On the linux side?

It. Just. Worked.

I fix computers every day. I can say with sure knowledge that Windows sucks dead donkeys. I don't have it on my computer and I would not have it there.

5. I am Microsoft certified and its really all I know
Its made me a decent living. But I realize that it aint the real thing. Fantastic marketing and a monopoly have made it the choice for end users and tech people... someday I will learn the other stuff too.
