Ladies, don't get your pantyhose in a bunch

how many of you still wear them? The only time I wear pantyhose is when I am dressed fancy. Otherwise I make sure my toenails look pretty.

Before I retired most of the women were not wearing panyhose. They wore sandels.

In the summer, I like to go bare-legged. Of course, I live in a casual city, so it's not that big of a deal when you go out. :hi:

I wear black pantyhose. I think they're comfortable. Maybe you ladies who think they're uncomfortable just need a bigger size.? Or maybe you are buying the "sheer" unstretchy kind?

2. When I was younger and thinner, I wore them regularly and they really

didn't bother me. Now that I am older and fatter, I just cannot get comfortable in them at all. I wear longer dresses and skirts, so I usually just wear those incredibly sexy knee-high nylons!! Woo Baby!

I wear cotton tights or knee highs or boots. Only weddings, funerals and job interviews will make me drag out the pantyhose. Yuk.

I'm not the only who wears them. Yes. They are so much more comfortable then those damn pantyhose. Panyhose sometimes fit and sometimes they don't Nothing worse then pulling up panyhose every few minutes.

3. I wear them to work when I have to dress up.

Mostly I wear jeans or nice trousers or riding pants so no pantyhose needed.

And dated and sexist. These two guys were changing clothes in the locker room after a couple of rounds of golf. One of them takes a pair of pantyhose out of his bag and begins putting them on. His friend says, "Um, so how long have you been wearing pantyhose?" and the other guy said

showing in any way. I wear pants so I just use knee highs, but wear

I still keep my toes pretty though, the whole pedicure thing is my absolute favorite luxury in the world now.

In general I think they're old fashioned and do little for the look of an outfit.

I'm having an extremely difficult time thinking of anyone my age wearing them...or even, celebrities that wear them...

Living in a warmer climate helps, as does no longer working in an office. I hated it when I worked at a more conservative office in a northern clime and they required women to wear hose unless they wore pants. So, I almost always wore pants. Hose are just so damn uncomfortable unless they're the ultra-expensive sheer kind, which snag when you breathe on them.

is that I only have to wear them once or twice a year. The rest of the time I get away with sandals or loafers with no socks.
