Place the State - Game

I don't know if this has been posted already. I just got it e-mailed to me and it was fun to do. This is the Intermediate level of the game. I have not yet tried advanced or the easier level.

The game invovles placing the US states on a map. It is VERY sensitive, so you have to be almost exactly right, within a few miles of the borders, to get credit. I got 47 out of 50 correct for 94% with an average error of 11 miles in 204 seconds. I missed by quite a bit with my first one, Colorado. The other I missed were Nevada and Tennessee. I was pretty close to the borders on both, but not close enough. It gets easier after the first two or three states are placed.

I got it pretty close -- I guess the computer figured it was close enough.

I figured as long as they didn't bring Paraguay or Bolivia too early into the picture I'd score big. First 2 coutries were Uraguay and French Guinia and it was a matter of finding the right edge along the border

I was in the 60% range when I stopped. I was too embarrassed. I need to brush up on my European geography. Next, Asia. I always gets the stans confused.

Not bad for a limey who has spent his entire life in Europe.

I was lucky getting mainly coastal and border states early on, then being able to link from them for the interior ones.
