Enough of the bitching. Tell me something really nice that you saw someone
do today. I saw a man pushing a car off to the side of the road for the little old lady who was driving it.

C'mon, think of something. We need some happy vibes going here. :hi:

1. I saw a really good teacher . . .
. . . teaching a great lesson on mock trial today - kids ate it up. Sat with a table of middle schoolers who were debating the 4th Amendment and TLO v. New Jersey. Wow!

2. Coworker called a wrong-number caller back
Someone left a message on my coworker's work cell phone. It was a wrong number call but sounded urgent, so my coworker went out of her way to make sure the caller knew the message had not gotten through to the intended recipient.

4. This wasn't exactly a good deed, but it made me smile.
My husband and I had taken our boys to ride the carousel at the mall. It was the first time for our younger son. Afterwords, as I was putting him in the stroller, an older gentleman was pushing a little boy about the same age past me, and he was beaming. He pointed to him and said said to me "It was his first time on a carousel!" It was just such a sweet moment.

7. 94 & a heart full of love...
Edited on Tue Feb-01-05 10:36 PM by A-Schwarzenegger
I was feeling a little down and called an old friend
I hadnt talked to in years. It was weird because normally
I dont call ANYbody when I'm having a blue day. But we
talked for an hour or so and I had my whole soul recharged,
partly because despite her strong opinions on many things
she never has a hateful, cynical or mocking word to say about
anybody. She's 94.
