1. Years ago we had a neighbor whose parrot
whistled this - constantly. There was one part the parrot didn't like (or couldn't master  ) so he skipped over it.

6. haha, that's pretty funny
sounds like a little kid who doesn't know an entire song and so just repeats the same phrase over and over and over and over again...

8. We kept waiting for the parrot to learn that part
It was pretty funny and it made us laugh every time we heard him. I think it was the only song he knew.

2. Do you remember the whistling theme from:
The great escape ? Sounds similar and it's a nasty earworm.

11. Only thing worse is "Doh a deer, a female deer" from Sound of Music!
Edited on Tue Feb-01-05 10:28 AM by yellowcanine
Heh. At least you got rid of that River Kwai thingy.

On edit: Actually, Sound of Music is full of earworms: "My Favorite Things", "The Hills are Alive", "Maria", and the runner up to "Doh a deer" is .......... "Eidelweiss" of course! And don't get me started on "Beauty and the Beast" or "Fiddler on the Roof"!
