Is anybody here taking a prescription diet pill with an amphetamine?
If so, which one are you taking?

My doc has offered to write me a prescription.

1. I didn't know that amphetamines were even prescribed, anymore.
Which one(s) did the doc mention?

8. not necessarily
people tend to think that ALL overweight people are lazy and eat too much. There are myriad reasons as to why one would be overweight. Some morbidly obese people have dieted themselves to being that heavy. Lose 10 gain 12, lose 5 gain 7.
dieting doesn't work for some.
amphetamimes are definately not a good idea.

If you only have a little to lose, watch your portions and move around a bit.
If you have a LOT to lose and your Dr wants to prescribe amphetimes, find a different Dr.

this is also an alternative and a life saver for MANY.
