AAARRRGGHH!! Is it just me?????
With all the problems we are facing here and abroad both as a country and as democrats, WHY THE F*** are we worried about what Cheney wore and fantasizing about a love triangle with Condi/GW and Laura??????

Is this a serious political forum or a middle school lunchroom????
(the Lounge is excepted - it is the stress relief valve)

Thanks, you can return to your normal conversation.

1. Imagine that it's you mom's funeral.
Your cousin Dick shows up drunk with a bimbo on his arm. He's wearing shorts & a Hawaiian shirt and they're both giggling incessantly.

3. Yes, it did.
The whole point was commemorate the murders of 12 million people. In his blind, uncaring arrogance, Cheney treated it like he was going to a football game in Wisconsin. He's an embarrassment to the United States and should personally apologize to every diplomat, head of state, national Representative and survivor in attendance.

4. I'm not sure about the whole "love triangle" thing,

but the I think the Cheney issue was that he was attending a solemn memorial which was commemmorating the deaths of over a million people, and he wore a ridiculously casual outfit. Even if he was simply doing it to stay warm, he should have at least dressed up, worn something a little nicer than an olive-green parka embroidered with his name and brown lace-up boots.

Imagine the outrage if Tony Blair came to NYC for a 9/11 memorial in a polo shirt and khaki shorts, saying that it was just too hot to wear anything else.

Personally, yes, I think people are taking it a bit seriously, and are acting a little silly when they claim to be "shocked and appalled". It doesn't shock me at all, it just strikes me as inappropriate. IMO it further proves the complete lack of class and concern on the part of the * administration.

By the way, hello, my fellow Cardinals fan. :)

5. Because sometimes I think we need to do this. Otherwise I'd go insane.
I sat at the dinner table and cried for 45 minutes thinking of all the lives lost in this war. I just couldn't get it together. I need this somedays.

Thank You.

7. Emotional overload does play a part here
I know what it's like to just want to vent to relieve the pressure.

Here... you sound like one of these is in order. :)

6. Ya know when outrage is followed by outrage is followed by outrage
outrage seems to get a bit outrageous...does not make the outrage any less outrageous! :grr: What if Gore had shown up in an outfit like that...it would be 24/7 news...and you complain that WE complain ? You should complain that THEY do NOT complain! :grr: did I say :grr:
