1. Bastard.
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 10:39 AM by Richardo
I'd like the VP's office buried under protest mail for this abomination. Multi-millionaire can't be bothered to pack a black overcoat and appropriate hat?

Copy the Israeli embassy while you're at it. ("Here's one of your dignified big GOP 'supporters' phoning it in for Holocaust victims.")

6. So, people are there to mourn and to memorialize the deaths
and Cheney is there to - what? - take measurements of the barracks and check out the equipment and find some new ideas and soak up the bad energy and negative vibes to get a recharging of his EvilBattery?

And is that Sean Connery in his "Red October" hat sitting behind and to the left of Cheney (our left, as we look at Cheney)?

18. Pretty ironic, isn't it, that he, who is getting rich off the war,
would go to a place run by the people who his boss' grandfather financed and got rich from as well.

It all makes such a perfect little circle.

19. You realize that he isn't wearing dress shoes either
look those are boots.

As someone pointed out with his health he does have to very careful of getting the flu but for crying out loud he is the VP of the United States, something else could have been done.

These pictures do have that whole "I didn't know it was picture day" feel to them.

My dad still has the one issued to him when we got stationed at Elmendorf AFB (Anchorage, Alaska) back in the 70's. Notice the military patch on the right front...

Another line blurred - another unique American tradition trashed.

We might as well all learn to play soccer - we're no different now than the rest of the world.

30. An article on CNN had a great comparison...
<snip>

Other leaders at the event in Poland on Thursday marking the 60th anniversary of the death camp's liberation, such as French President Jacques Chirac and Russian President Vladimir Putin, wore dark, formal overcoats and dress shoes or boots.

"The vice president, however, was dressed in the kind of attire one typically wears to operate a snow blower," Robin Givhan, The Washington Post's fashion writer, wrote in the newspaper's Friday editions.
