I always figured that he was under either the Renaissance Center or 1-96 (the Jeffries Freeway), since both were built in the time frame of his disappearance. I'm not sure they would have dragged him, dead or alive, from metro Detroit to Jersey to get rid of him there, when there were so many places around here to do the job.
My friend thinks that he's buried under the concrete banks of the Rouge River in Dearborn. The pollution was so bad in the 70s, that they just concreted in a whole stretch of the river.
