About that head-on collision I had....
Here are some pictures of what used to be my car. As I posted last week, I slammed into another car that pulled out in front of me...I was doing about 50-55 mph. Aside from swollen knees for a couple days, a nasty bruise on my stomach, aches and pains in my upper body (I feel like Ahnuld punched me a few times in my chest), and the taste of mortality lingering in my mouth, I'm doing ok.

:hi:

6. LOL
I may be looking into something similar...

It's funny, the other driver's insurance company has given me a new Cadillac Deville as my rental car. I've gone from a li'l dinghy to a battleship.

I'm like, alright, motherfuckers, hit me NOW!

10. I went from a Honda Civic
to what I like to call a Fortress of Steel. :)

I had a good reason, though. You try getting around Fargo, ND, in the winter on unplowed roads in a Civic. It's nigh impossible.

3. THAT was a close call!
Glad to hear you're doing okay. And you've been fully checked out at a trauma unit for potential internal injuries, correct? Please don't shrug off the aches and pains until you know for a fact that they're not significant.

8. volvo
Volvos are the safest cars in crashes. I wouldn't have anything else. Plus used volvos retain their value better than other cars and are better maintained. Plus they piss off Republicans.
