Magazine Includes Free Marijuana Seeds With New Issue
<snip>

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands -- A Dutch magazine was including an unusual freebie with its latest issue -- two marijuana seeds in a small plastic bag.

Nieuwe Revu editor in chief Mark Koster said the move was a publicity stunt accompanying the Jan. 26 issue, which advocates legalizing marijuana and other banned substances.

Although Holland is famous for tolerating the sale of small amounts of marijuana and hashish in coffee shops, both are technically illegal and the government prosecutes possession of more than several grams.

"We're saying, stop the war on drugs, which costs a fortune and there are no results," Koster said.

Koster said prosecutors had not contacted the magazine about the stunt. But several major supermarket chains either removed the seeds or kept the issue off the shelves.

Koster said the seeds were "OK" in quality.

1. Yeah, right...............
"But several major supermarket chains either removed the seeds or kept the issue off the shelves."

OR, there's another option. They took the seeds and planted them themselves. I have to say that there are seed stocks in the Netherlands that are almost scary. Huge, white buds with more hairs than a Neanderthal, dripping with resin and ..........................oh........ :crazy: I gotta stop thinking about this right now.

anymore. most of her family has moved away anyway.

its just silly. while i LOVE living in this liberal bastion, the winters are really starting to get to me. i'm tired of digging out of the shit every week

9. I don't blame you
if it weren't for my family, I'd be somewhere warm.

I keep saying that the weather feels more like Minnesota than Massachusetts. I'm starting to believe that we're effected by Global Climate change. Growing up here, it was NEVER this consistently cold (single digits and teens). We got some whopper storms, but not nearly as frequently. We set the all-time record for snow totals in Jan.

The streets are still a mess here too-you think Massachusetts would know how to plow...
