MUST there be gloating this evening???
I mean, is that any way to behave? I know for a fact that if the Steelers had won I would congratulate Pats fans for their team's stellar season, not taunt and terrorize them. As Mr. Kleeb said, I'm just glad that the Steelers got as far as they did; no one expected this this season.

2. I really am how happy how far we made it
Its gonna suck ass in journalism and government with all those stupid redskins fans though who always diss the steelers. I am sick of people saying Roethlisberger is overrated, hey dude, hes only lost one NFL start.

3. I had respect for the Patriots until tonight
I would be fine with the Patriots winning, but they are being very showoffy and cocky about their win, and I officially hope they get horribly defeated in the SuperBowl.

6. Oh yeah, all of them ...
Just like all of the Steelers fans threw towels at them when they scored. :eyes:

I guess enjoying a victory must be a stoic occassion.

9. I didnt say the fans
I said the players, like the Pat who punched Bettis int he back or the Pat who waved to the Steelers while he was running in for a touchdown.

No call for it.

17. LOL ... punched him in the back!?!
What kind of dumbass would do something like that intentionally, considering that all he would be punching would be the hard plastic of his pads? Give me a break :eyes:

As for the waving, I am certain that 1. it was a result of all the jawing going on during the game (and having seen both Pats and Steelers play, I have a pretty good idea who the instigators were) 2. Bill is gonna have a nice little chat with him, I'm sure.

19. LOL ... I told my wife when the Pats were up 21 ...
"Watch the stadium clear out."

Pittsburgh has the *worst* sports fans, hands down. They are bandwagon, fair-weather fans. I went to college in Western PA, and I'll tell ya, they were full of smack talk when their team was up and nowhere to be seen when it was down. Heck, the Pirates couldn't even sell out an NLCS game 6 vs. Atlanta in '92 because they came home down 3-2. But, boy, you woulda thought Mario Lemieux invented the game of hockey ... and then within 5 years the Penguins were filing for bankruptcy and considering leaving the 'Burgh. Next year, no one in PA will care about the Steelers ... hell, I bet next week you won't see Black and Gold anywhere, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of Green and Silver in McKees Rocks, Monroeville, and Aliquippa--they'll all be eating Cheesesteaks instead of those stupid BBQ ham sandwhiches.

I'm referring to fans. I just hope there won't be any "Your team SUCKS!" comments.

20. I wonder if
tonights behavior has anything to do with their last meeting. Could there have been some smack talk from the Steelers directed at the Pats? Inquiring minds want to know.
