I was going to an afternoon fundraiser at the Theater N in Wilmington where they were screening the movie Vera Drake. All procedes were for Planned Parenthood of DE. DUer Ramsey and her husband, along with some friends here in DE, were going to attend. Afterwards, Ramsey, Mr. Ramsey and I were all going to the best Sushi restaurant in Delaware - Mikimoto's.

Instead tonight I'm drinking a really good bottle of french wine and eating a Lean Cusine. Someone shoot me now - PLEASE!!!

1. I was gonna go see my old band play.

They're playing at some old dive in the Loop. I haven't seen them since the last time I played out with them, which was in August.

The place they're playing has no stage, and the door opens up out on to the street which I'm sure is covered in about a foot of snow.

I'll catch 'em next time.

6. I was going to a friend's 50th Birthday party

it was going to be a bunch of old punk rockers getting together at a VFW hall with catered food and jam sessions. It was cancelled because Boston is expecting 12-24" of snow.

7. I was going to hunt down a real estate man

at his weekly poker game/music jam to get some info about reclaiming some property.

I was looking forward to picking with some mountain boys, but the snow and wind are keeping me in with DU and my daughter and Buddha, who got some new clothes today. (Small very grateful yay!)

8. I was supposed to do my radio show.

Luckily the music director was at the station and could fill in for me. My poor car got stuck in the snow just 50 feet down the road. I tried - I really tried.
