Things I hate but am forced to live with.
I hate it when It's cold outside and I pull up to a gas station that has broken off those latches that holds the gas flow.

I hate opening a DVD. It takes almost ten minutes to open one.

Anyone else have any good ones they to list here:

1. Any electronic bits packaging.
Ever notice that most of it requires a Sawzall and cutting torches to open? Diabolical.

2. Plastic Bags...
I'm not really forced to live with them. BUt when I buy one thing at the store, and the clerk puts it in a plastic bag. Sometimes I am quick enough to stop them. Most times not.

3. What others have mentioned
I also hate some of the Pakistani foods my husband loves so much (and loves to cook); their odors completely funkify the house for days, not to mention the refrigerator. But I love him and knew this going in, so I put up with it. Incense helps!

I hate being in law school classes with arrogant twits who've never worked a day in their lives and think they split the atom. God help their future clients - I wouldn't want them as my lawyer!

10. The packaging on Kid's Toys
Everything is wired and screwed and otherwise attached to the packing cardboard of the box it comes in.

Takes too long to get the toys OUT of the packaging.

22. Packaging of kid's toys -- what is up with that???
That drives me absolutely insane! Also, they use that plastic that you can't open with your hands...you have to use scissors and cut through it. I hate that crap.

Oh yeah -- opening cds drives me nuts, too. What is with that sticky label thing they put along the case. Once you finally get the plastic wrap off, you have to deal with this thing.

Does he give a reason for staying? Did you share before you got together?

Change the locks, and dump all of his belongings on the pavement outside whilst he is out.

15. Cleaning the toilet
Edited on Sun Jan-23-05 03:24 AM by Kipepeo
But MOST of all, cleaning the tub. It's a pain in the ass to bend over forever and have to scrub the tub. I hate cleaning it more than any other cleaning activity I can think of.

Except mopping.

God how I hate mopping.

23. Will Robinson, I feel your pain...
My wife is the same way and it drives me crazy. I'll start to throw something out and she'll say, "Wait, I was going to use that for such and such..."

Drives me crazy -- she has shit everywhere that she was going to use for "such and such" that never gets used!

28. catching mice
I can't let them live in my house - but I hate to kill the little mice after we catch em. Most of them avoid the traps that will allow us to release them - however - we still set those traps and release those few live catches. Otherwise - it's sticky boards  and death.

31. Trying to find the lid that matches a tuperware-type container ...
They are all crammed in the cupboard with the lids, and I have to find a chair and climb up there and practically remove every item from the cupboard before I can locate the one that matches the container I've decided to use. I really, really, really hate doing that.

34. I hate that
I used to buy new occasionally. I finally sorted it all out and threw away any that didn't have lids. Then I put the lids on and store them that way. It takes more room, but it works better.

35. All the beeps
Why does the dryer beep when done? It's plenty noisy, I can hear when it stops. Why does the microwave beep, the dishwasher, the iron?

Don't even get me started on the car. :argh: We had one car that just started randomly beeping. We couldn't fix it. We ended up trading it in to a dealer instead of selling it. We couldn't pass on that problem to anyone.
