Poll question: what "popular" foods can you do without?
I like fries, but i can seriously go without them. I don't need them all the time with my fast food and i don't need them with every meal unlike what my campus dining hall thinks. what about you?

1. Chocolate = Empty calories
All the other items mentioned have some nutritional value.

2. I can do without fries also. Once in a while I get a craving for
Wendy's fries dipped in a Frosty, but I can satisfy that craving once every couple of years or so.

I don't order fries in restaurants. I substitute vegetables, salad or soup.

I can also do without potato chips, except once or twice a year, and I never eat guacamole.

I'm no veggie, but of all the foods on that list, It's the one thing I could go the rest of my life without ever craving...

4. Chicken.
Ever since WWII, chicken hasn't tasted like anything. It's just there. And most of the time, it's so overcooked that it's dry as cardboard.

It's a perfectly fine canvas for other flavors, but it's got nothing to offer on its own. If I never ate chicken again, I would miss nothing.

6. Cheetohs and Bugles and Sun Chips
I don't like any of the above - I would rather eat cardboard.

14. that's what i never intend to do
I drink occasionly, though its mostly when i'm out at a nice resturant with my parents and even then i don't get it all the time. I've also survived going to frats without ever drinking.

12. No fries, please.
I pretty much gave them up almost four years ago (low-fat diet, doctor's orders) and have eaten them only once since then.
