4. It irks me.

My gay friends won't even call each other "f*ggot" the way some black people use "n*gger". Either way, I don't think straight white men have much business using the words. Just sayin' is all.

As you can tell, this straight white boy is totally uncomfortable using either in any context.

Which is why I think it really drives the point home in the song. Look at these gomers I work with, for example. Something doesn't go their way it's "that's so gay." Or if someone mentions a news article critical of * it's "faggot liberals just wanna appease the terra-ists." I think that's why it's such a great line in the song. I think, surely, my gay friends would really dig that line. I'll have to ask now, because you got me wondering.
