I haven't thought about that song in YEARS, lol! And I haven't heard it in a good twenty years, either. I was ten when it came out in 1975, and my friends and I listened to it over and over and over and over and over and over and.......well, you get the picture. Even in junior high we were listening to it. Guess, being the young, dumb, giggly, totally inexperienced gals that were, we thought it was soooo romantic, lol! Definitely one of the strangest, creepiest, most dramatic singles to ever make the Top Ten.

I have this one album that many would consider to be the worst compilation ever, Sounds of the Seventies: AM Pop Classics. It collects this song alongside "Billy, Don't Be a Hero", "The Night Chicago Died", "Seasons in the Sun", "Shannon", "Jungle Fever", "Sky High", "Beautiful Sunday", and plenty of others. I like pretty much all of 'em, but I never claimed to have good taste.
