Things you have seen on TV that totally grossed you out!
I think the nastiest thing I have seen on TV was something on Discover or Discover Health network where they showed wound treatment with maggots. They showed how they put the maggots on the bandage and seal it up over the wound. The maggots only eat away the dead tissue, and leave the live tissue alone.

Man that was gross! :puke:

6. Last night on HBO...
...some woman washed down a plate full of maggots, HUGE grasshoppers, pig snouts, etc. with a very nasty looking sheep's eyeball. It popped very conspicuously when she bit down on it, causing viscera to run down her chin.

I am disgusted with myself for watching something like that, but I take comfort in the fact that I turned it off soon after despite the promise of upcoming T&A. ;)

9. Teeth makeovers on Extreme Makeover
Just watched it last night as a matter of fact. Was trying to enjoy my sandwich when they kept showing close-ups of this guy's teeth that were rotting. Blech.

11. Fat removal ...Updated at 4:23 AM
This obese woman was having body fat removed for health reasons. They had lines on her and they used those as guide to slice off chunks. They took a chunk and slapped it on a table. It looked like a 5" thick block of wiggling grissle.

Blech.

17. Someone told me that was his real hair.
My question, either way is, with that much money, why would you pay to have your hair or a crummy hairpiece look like that. It looks like an obese brown squirrel dug into his head and died.

19. Pat Boone on a music award show....
During his Heavy Metal period--wearing a black leather harness.

He was at the podium--not singing, thanks to the nearest available Deity....

On the Science front, I remember a show on forensics. Knowledge of various insects, their life cycles & seasonal behavior can be useful when trying to date human remains. Lots of interesting details.
