Poll question: What's your favorite kind of climate?
I like a 4-season climate the most.

Sorry, polls are turned off at Level 3.

1. Maine, of course. Though I could do a slightly milder
climate with less extremity in at both the hot n cold ends. :)

16. Maine is my favorite too!
I think some places in the Midwest have more extreme temperatures, like Minnesota.

3. The notion that Seattle is "wet" is a misnomer
Yes, we get a lot of rain, but so do a lot of places. Consider Houston, which exceeds Seattle in annual rain fall, but is also hot and humid. Few places are as beautiful as Seattle, which has a moderate climate and four different seasons.

I would call this Coastal, which includes all four seasons with tempered climate variations.

Just a biased opinion for you. :)

6. That poll choice was specifically for..
those who like a lot of rain. So it's just one of many I could have picked.

7. I like the changes
Really do. Though I could live with a Southern U.S. climate.

10. As I get older and creakier-- the more I realize--hot is good.
Hot and dry is *better*. Damp is getting to be not so good. I've been in Las Vegas and Reggio Calabria, Italy (which is a lovely place--cactus pears grow wild, the beach is unkempt, but gorgeous)--this is weather I can *take* Damp and raining and cold and freezing rain and shovelling--feh! And damp is *difficult* on my wavy hair.

13. Seasonal...
I like all 4 seasons equally. Plus when I begin to tire of one season, the next one is right around the corner
