I am too young to remember the Iron Curtain, but I imagine it was a lot like this? Am I wrong?

The big similairty between the Steel Curtain days and the '05 squad is that they're solid TEAMS- not just a lucky bunch with a few finesse players.

are better but they hardly killed the Jets. Jets have a solid defense. They need to pressure the sSteelers rookie QB and they need 2 turnovers. If tyhey get this it could be close

Look, I'm in NJ and I'm a serious Jets fan. Stayed loyal the season they were 1 and 15, etc. Never miss a game. Really enjoy watching them play and expect Chad to make a great coach someday.
But, to be really honest, I'm hoping for a great game, lots of excitement, and wish your Steelers all the luck in the Super Bowl.

| 12. Steelers are very good but not invincible - Giants almost beat them |
|
In fact, if the officials pulled a flag like they should have at the very end of the game when a Steeler defender ran up receiver Amani Toomer's back and tripped him, preventing an almost certain touchdown, they would have. But even without the flag the Giants lost by only 3 points and Ben Rothlisberger showed he could be rattled by a good pass rush - and that with the Giants having 6 of 11 defensive starters injured for the game and a 3rd string safety.
I'm not a Jets fan but if they can put a good rush on your QB you could have problems. He looked like a rookie in the Giant game.
