After Eating Raw Duck, Lost Hunter Saved By Underwear

ROGERS, Ark. -- You never know when a clean pair of skivvies while help you out of jam.

An Arkansas attorney was rescued this week thanks to his tighty whities.

Ben Lipscomb got lost while duck hunting with his Labrador retriever. A state police helicopter was looking for him, but the Rogers city attorney knew he would be tough to spot in his camouflage hunting gear. Lipscomb said the helicopter passed over him several times.

Lipscomb said he had to something to make himself more visible. So, he tied his white briefs to the barrel of his gun and starting waving. He was rescued after spending a cold 12 hours in the woods. He even ate a raw duck.

And I'll have to agree that it would take a little longer than 12 hours before I'd eat a raw duck. Hell it'd take longer than that before I ate a cooked duck. blech.

6. Duck hunting survival kit...

Bring something BRIGHT and ORANGE to wave around, so ya can still wear yer skivvies.

Some hiking meals or snacks so ya don't have to eat a raw duck after only 12 hours.

Maybe a GPS unit so ya don't get lost in the first place.

Just sayin', that was one mighty unprepared hunter, ayup.
