2. That's a paradox.
If one is inclined to vote 'yes' then one must also believe that we should think the same thing (as is stated in the question); given that thus far everybody has voted 'no' by voting 'yes' one would introduce dissent thus contradicting oneself.

Both sets of grandparents taught me that both directly and indirectly. I don't know why other people seemed to be taught the opposite.
