The war against teenagers

My step-brother and I were talking about teenagers and how they're always trashed by the media. The only coverage teenagers get is when something awful happens (Columbine, Gangs, etc...). You'd think teenagers were all a bunch of loose cannons, hell bent on causing trouble all hours of the day. Well, if that's the case, why is it that everytime I meet teenagers they always behave like decent human beings? There are quite a few teens that post here on DU! Why doesn't the media every talk about all the nice, regular teens? There are more of them than the trouble makers.

Anyway, the kids are alright.
