Good News, Bad News. From Opi ...Rant #65782.008

Good news: after 10 years of negative cash flow and living off borrowed monies, selling assests, and small jobs, the Opi goes into a pos cash flow situation for the first time in a very long period.

Whewwww. it was exciting but hair raising at times.

Bad News. I got burg'd a month ago, perp got away with my credit cards, ID, etc.

Good news, he got caught on his 11th burg and now is in custody in lieu of $30K bond... trial coming up in 2 months and he has to stay in jail ... just 18, he looked like the patheic punk icehead he is. Shackled at the legs....just like in the movies...I wanted to laugh but court decorum prevented me ....

Bad News. Hubert Flottz's dog Howdy, age 15, has passed. Hubbie and I cried as I got the news.....For 3 1/2 years I fed theat dog with meaty bones(cyberally of course).... Howdy went fishing with Hubert and also kept the JWs from approaching the front porch. He was a very good friend and companion for Hubert.

Good news, Hubert and wife went to the pound and rescued/adopted 2 pups (8 months old) and they will ease the pain.

Good news. Now have 15 large pregnant Mangrove crabs in my system.. we gonna be proud parents soon.

Bad news... running outta space for the critters.

Good news....seaweed project is a success. Over 3 months of captivity/cultivation has resulted in a sustained growth. We are expanding soon to reach commercial levels soon.

sorry to hear the bad news along with it.

Hubbie getting two new pups is wonderful after losing Sam I filled my house with two more min pins so now I have three. And they keep me busy along with the construction of my house.

After the hurricanes I finally got the papers in that I needed and the go ahead to improve our house that really got it with Hurricane Frances and Jean. Alot of work but now it's starting to take shape and have some progress, it's been on hold for major stuff,all permits approved then it will take time and patience and that's key to finishing successfully without anymore accidents or other stuff in life that can come at ya....you know how it is. I was lucky I didn't lose my identity this past summer. Left my pocket book 60 miles back in a eatery that thankfully found it before someone took it and I remembering at the first rest stop with the pets evacuating when Frances came through. I was very fortunate I got my bag back, gave the manager a big hug and good tip.

I try to keep up with reading on DU, my posting has been limited, I know. I'm in that politic stinks mode but I'll always be a fighter.
Like you and Hubert...and the rest of the DU Community, where the best people hang out.
