5. Remember when Bic's lasted forever?

and you would lose it before it quit writing? They even had an ad campaign about it. Sometime in the early 70's they either changed the point design or the ink and they became crap.

8. I dunno, the ink in my Bic pen was so far down to the nub today ...

... that I couldn't even see it, and yet it kept on writing through an 8 hour shift. I couldn't believe it. It was still working at the end of the day.

write smoothly? Or does it skip (drag) a bit? Mine is about 20 years old, and it takes cartridges. (I use Pentel cartridges rather than Mont Blanc, because they're less expensive.) I truly love the weight of a fountain pen in my hand.
