Joe Dirt Rules!
Am I the only one who loves this movie? I get the feeling I am because it bombed at the box office. Maybe it makes a difference that I've grown up in Ohio, because any of my neighbors could BE Joe Dirt.
I do hate Dennis Miller though.

This dude was shoveling snow out of driveways the other day, & had one of those really redneck looking mustache/beard type things, so I've kinda nicknamed him "Jim Dirt".

"It puts the Joe Dirt in the hole!"

I have a hard time not giggling during Silence of the Lambs now.

1. I hate, Hate, HATE, David Spade...
so obviously the movie can't be that good if he's the star! If he wasn't in it though, it would have been better. :)

4. I don't really know
what to make of him by himself, but he was a good combination with Chris Farley. Kind of polar opposites in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep.
His credit card commercials are lame, but pretty much all the credit card commercials are lame. If you think of a celebrity who has never been lame, and he did a credit card commercial, it would still be lame.

I guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, unless he does something that really erks me.

5. He did kick ass, opposite of Chris Farley...
but now that Chris is gone, you see that it has nothing to do with David Spade and all to do with Mr Farley :P

2. I actually enjoyed it and I hate David Spade
There was a real sweetness at the core of the movie (much like "Kingpin") and the movie actually avoided patronizing Joe Dirt
