1. The Pogues, Iron Maiden, and The Queers.
Very diverse selection, but they are my top three from the 80s.

18. Good choice
I saw them live in Japan in 1992. Got brought to front row with my friend. We were the only caucasians in the audience, so the staff thought we were with the band.

It was a tiny venue. AWESOME show!

77. Well you can do that but they are from the 80's.
X was out in 87
Nothing's Shocking in 88
Ritual came out in 90

They're an 80's band even if the mainstream didn't notice them for a few years.

60. For some reason, his guys ushered my gal friend and I to the...
orchestral pit. We had regular tickets, but they put us in the orchestral pit. He sang to me all night long, and at the end, ripped his own tee shirt off and handed it to me. Yes, I still have it somewhere...I think it's in a wooden box in my office with other things I kept, like my "tease" (side rat tail) when I finally cut it off.

Sure, come touch the relic of Adam Ant days past! LOL! :D

65. Pictures of You
i've been looking so long at these pictures of
you that i almost belive that they're real i've
been living so long with my pictures of you that
i almost believe that the pictures are all i can
feel

remembering you standing quiet in the rain as
i ran to your heart to be near and we kissed as
the sky fell in holding you close how i always
held close in your fear remembering you
running soft through the night you were bigger
and brighter than the snow and
screamed at the make-believe screamed at the
sky and you finally found all your courage to
let it all go

remembering you fallen into my arms crying
for the death of your heart you were stone
white so delicate lost in the cold you were
always so lost in the dark remembering you
how you used to be slow drowned you were
angels so much more than everything oh hold
for the last time then slip away quietly open
my eyes but i never see anything

if only i had thought of the right words i could
have hold on to your heart if only i'd thought of
the right words i wouldn't be breaking apart all
my pictures of you

Looking So long at these pictures of you but i
never hold on to your heart looking so long for
the words to be true but always just breaking
apart my pictures of you

there was nothing in the world that i ever
wanted more than to feel you deep in my heart
there was nothing in the world that i ever
wanted more than to never feel the breaking
apart all my pictures of you

But I really consider them a product of the 80s Acidhouse scene in the UK. I pretty much consider anything that is pre-Nirvana part of the greater 80s scene ya know. Of course I was only 5 in 89 so what the fuck do I know lol
