I'm saying that I see many eminently reasonable opinions and ideas expressed in these forums that are immediately attacked as heresy and the posters condemned as freepers.

I think I'm as far to the left as I need to be. It's how I beleive. I just think it's a shame that fellow liberals are so often judged on DU as to whether or not they are "liberal enough."

Mind you, I haven't tusselled with many people out here...I prefer to swap ideas rather than fight with people, so I tend not to be purposefully confrontational. I'm just commenting on the flame wars that I see. I think it's sad.
