14. hands down.. Mariah.. Glitter=worst. movie. ever.
It was funny at times, painful at others. Her friends should be shot for allowing her to do that to herself.

4. Good thread idea SCRUBDASHRUB
But I think it needs tweaking. Singers and mucisians usually and thankfully know their place. Now actors on the other hand are pretty stupid about such things. I think we can get more mileage and more monumental disasters out of actors who tried to sing.

13. We have a winner!
Elvis may not have been inherently worse an actor than most other singers who did movies, but he did movie after movie for longer than a decade--and his acting never got better! So yeah, it's gotta be Elvis.

26. And the Hollywood thing was a distraction from his real talent.
Quite a few of the singer/actors can really do neither. Elvis should not have wasted so much of his time in the movies.

27. No, she was OK in "Desparately Seeking Susan"
Although she was playing herself. Or playing herself playing herself...

I haven't seen any of her other movies, but I saw people run screaming from the theaters.
