Weird Food Combinations you like to eat
I just got home from the grocery store with some cottage cheese. Mind you I won't touch the stuff unless I put soooooo much freaking pepper on it the stuff is almost black. When there is a layer of black pepper on top, I then stir it up and I'm pretty much eating a bowl of dingy grey cottage cheese. The odd thing is - I never use pepper for a seasoning on anything else I eat.

My other favorite weird food combination is actually an un-combo. I hate freaking milk on my cereal. Don't get me wrong, I love love love milk and drink alot of it (skim only) and I like cereal. I just don't milk on my cereal because then my cereal gets all soggy.

What bizarre food combinations do you like to eat?

53. PB on BLT's should no longer be weird...
Weird should be reserved for chocolate coated bugs or stuff like that.

It is yummy. And most people who try it will agree. I've enjoyed it since childhood.

37. I"m going to have to try that one
I love boiled eggs and I love Mustard (I have about 6 different varieties in my fridge).

I usually eat 1-2 boiled eggs for breakfast since it's quicker to eat those than to cook the eggs (I'm always running late for work).

I have a great horseradish mustard I think I'll try with them!

Peanut butter and jelly is just too plain.

So to my PBJ I add a slice of meat and a slice of american cheese.

The best is Carl Buddig's processed chicken.

But in a pinch, I'll add:

Braunschweigger (sp)
Summer Sausage
Bologna

on White bread, of course...

56. Maybe, not too weird
I like to dip potato chips in baked beans. I like to dip bread in T Marzetti's vegtable ranch dip. I like to eat french fries on my fast food sandwich. Fried chicken is good coated in baked beans, cole slaw, or mashed potatoes or all three. I like maple syrup on sausage. I also like dill or anty vegi dip on crackers topped with cucumbers and summer sausage. I am thinking that none of these are too weird since these foods are often eaten in combination next to each other anyway.

they make my mother's licorice and raw lemon combo look downright culinary.

These things make my cream cheese and canned chopped clams more NIGELLA-ISH.

oh my gawd.

I'm so horrifed.

I'm going to go have some lebanon bologna schmeered with cream cheese. I'll feel MUCH better after that. MAYBE I'll chase it with popcorn and milk in a cereal bowl like my grandma would have every night. ALONG with my Curd cheese found ONLY near the dang amish country. Can someone send me some of that?

59. I've got a few
When I was a kid, I loved lettuce and mayo sandwiches on gummy white bread.

Then I got older and realized that bananas were just too squishy and sweet. I always eat potato chips with my bananas now. Crunchy and salty adds a lot to the mix.

The owner of a company I once worked for introduced me to ham and peanut butter on rye with honey. Maybe his idea of comp time for working through my lunch was providing the food, but it's not a bad sandwich - scary as it might sound.

I'll have to come back to read ALL the weird food. Will somone kick this post while I'm working please? That's 10 to 11 tonight and 8 to 5 tomorrow. (Good thing there's no commute tonight, but there's over an hour drive time tomorrow.)

Don't remember how that started, but I almost always get some chocolate whenever I buy beer.

Also like cocolate and something salty, like chips, together.

And I used to do the same thing as you with cereal and milk - cereal in a bowl and milk in a glass, but never on top of the cereal. (tho I've given up milk and cereal in an effort to keep my weight down. something had to go, and it wasn't going to be the beer, lol)
