1. I liked their previous album.

It may only be available as an import, but it has a great song called "Feeling Good".

I like the new stuff, too.

2. haven't heard the older one yet

Absolution is fucking great - I kept thinking Radiohead, Radiohead... but then I just let it go

3. saw them live

I decided to venture out one night with my friend who had a spare ticket for a show featuring Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Interpol, Taklng Back Sunday, and The Killers. I've been way out of the loop, and so I had never heard of Muse, but I thought that they were the best performers of the night. Yeah, they sound like Radiohead, but their live performance kicks ass.

And Interpol is WAY overrated.

4. Liked "Showbiz", but the second was just too "Faith+1" for me

Seemed way preachy. But maybe it needs a couple more turns in the playlist.
